Science and Technology in Atmospheric Research STAR LLC, is a Colorado small business, based in Boulder, CO, which specializes in providing science and engineering services to the defense, homeland security, and intelligence communities. STAR LLC was originally formed by employees of the nonprofit STAR Institute, in early 2010, to take advantage of small business opportunities.
STAR currently employs individuals who posses extensive backgrounds in the management and conduct of projects involving the modeling of atmospheric processes; transport and dispersion (T&D) modeling; scientific computing; statistics; atmospheric turbulence; sensor-data fusion; algorithm development; data processing/management; system administration, and software engineering.
